Correct short circuit operation requires also proper short circuit detection. The issue has been described in DSAI146 EiceDRIVER™ in chapter 3.7. Passive components like CSA, RSA, CSB, RSB are responsible for suitable ‘blanking time’ and set up the VCE desaturation threshold voltage. 

In DSAI146 adapter board these passive components are respectively named as C12, R7 - channel A and C13, R8 – channel B. Additional ones responsible for trigger suppression are CVCE and RVCE and their equivalents in DSAI146 are C10, R5 – channel A and C11, R6 – channel B. All components mentioned in this chapter are soldered into DSAI146 and their values as default are listed bellow: C12=C13= 560pF R7=R8= 22kΩ C10=C11=1nF R5=R6=470Ω.

It has to be noticed that those values may not be proper for all IGBT modules driven by this adapter board.
