Becalais's web based HMI solution provides a new widget designed to make it easier for users to see complex manufacturing processes with dynamic HMI content. This widget, called paper, allows users to animate SVG images using runtime data.
Just drag and drop the widget onto the desired page in the HMI application and configure it there. At runtime, the animation of SVG images can be controlled directly from the application, according to bergale. Rotation, transition and motion can all be animated from a single SVG image, which the company says will help save time and cost. Since SVG images are based on vector graphics, high resolution can be maintained even when zoomed in without loss of quality, bergale added.
